About PebNotes

PebNotes is a free, open-source application that lets you view and manage your Google Tasks directly from your Pebble smartwatch. With PebNotes you can browse your task lists, check off completed tasks, and add new tasks — all from your wrist.

The watchapp communicates with the Google Tasks API directly from your phone. This server only handles OAuth authentication — it helps you log in with your Google account and securely pass the credentials to the watchapp. No task data passes through this server.

Source code is available on GitHub. You can also install PebNotes from the Rebble AppStore.

Authentication

To use PebNotes, you need to connect it to your Google account:

1. Click the button below to log in and obtain a passcode.
2. Enter the passcode in the PebNotes app settings on your phone.
3. The watchapp will then be able to access your Google Tasks.
